LOOK WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING:
"The first time Ms. Cara met my son, she got down on the floor at his level, took his hand and touched it to his face and said his name and then she touched her face and said, "Cara". It doesn't take long to see when a student and a teacher make a connection. Ms. Cara had instant rapport. Anytime anyone asks, our first response is "'We love his speech therapist!'"

"I have had the pleasure of having Cara assist and direct me with my son's IEP. Cara is very knowledgeable in all aspects of school education and policies. Without Cara's help my son would not have received the proper services. You don't know how much I appreciate what Cara has done for us!"

"At I was first introduced to Cara Cilento through a mutual friend, several years ago when I discovered my son was having difficulties in speech and language. I met with Cara, who did a complete evaluation, comprehensive report and recommendations for speech therapy and an early intervention program for my 3 year old son. Not only was Cara able to get to the root of my son's learning deficits but she had a very strong working knowledge of how to approach the school district, advocate for my son and get the proper help he needed to excel. Her experience and patience put me at ease while guiding me through the complex process of getting services at our school district. Cara has re-evaluated my son over the years to chart his progress. In doing so, she recognized that he was struggling with reading. Through testing, Cara determined that the best course of action would be the Wilson method of reading. The Wilson method of instruction was not available at my son's school district. Her encouragement and knowledge was a guiding force in getting our school district to certify a teacher in Wilson instruction. Not only did my child benefit from Wilson but so did many of his classmates who had similar issues with reading development. I'm proud to say that my son will be graduating 8th grade in June with honors! He no longer struggles with reading, speech or language. He actually aspires to be a writer some day and has developed a great love for literature. I am forever in Cara's debt for all that she has done for our family. Her expertise in her field and her passion for helping children are the qualities that make Cara an outstanding speech therapist and exceptional human being."

"Ms. Cilento has been our special needs son's therapist for the past 3 years, she has worked with him to commence speech and now is working on his reading comprehension skills. Ms. Cilento was the first to suggest that our son had an auditory processing disorder and directed us to where to get the proper testing for this. Ms. Cilento also helped us obtain the proper device needed for our son. We feel that the true meaning of a good therapist is the relationship between them and the child. Our son loves Ms. Cara and looked forward to working with her. Ms. Cilento made therapy feel like a game where our son did not even realize he was actually working. Our son has a lot of behavioral issues and Ms. Cilento understood this and gave him the necessary breaks he needed to continue a session. Overall a great and caring therapist who goes beyond her duties and who we cannot do with out. "
